Classroom Technology Guide

Classroom Technology Instructions
- Pull out drawer on teaching station
- Press the space bar on the keyboard a few times to turn on the computer and wake up the Wacom tablet
3. Sign in with your NDUS identifier and password
- Click on the Windows icon
- Click on Wacom Tablet Properties
3. Click on the calibrate tab
4. Click on calibrate
5. To calibrate the pen, click on the + symbols (there will be four total, one in
each corner). If the calibration + show up on the wrong screen, press the ESC key,
select the other monitor from the drop down list under “monitor”

5. Choose disabled
1. On the button right of the desktop, right click on the speaker
2. Click open sound settings
3. Maximize the screen on the top right

7. Click on levels and adjust to preference using the slider
Set the Monitor Display Style
Option 1
To see the same thing on all displays:
- Press the Windows key + P
- Choose Duplicate
To see your desktop across multiple screens:
- Press the Windows key + P
- Choose extend
When displays are extended, you can move items between two screens
Option 2
- Right-click on your desktop and select "Display". At the top, your available monitors appear as blue, numbered boxes. Each box represents a monitor (e.g. box "1" corresponds with the left monitor and box "2" corresponds with the right monitor)
- Click the multiple displays drop-down menu and choose form the following options: Select duplicate these displays to enable the second monitor to mirror the first monitor OR select extend these displays to expand your desktop across each monitor.
- When finished, click apply
Set the Monitor Position
- Right-click on your desktop and select "Display". At the top of the box, your available monitors appear as blue, numbered boxes. Each box represents a monitor.
- If you want the mouse to scroll left to right across your monitors, make sure monitor "1" is on the left and monitor "2" is on the right.
- To change the monitors' position, click, drag, and place the blue, numbered boxes to your preferred position. If you are unsure which monitor is "1" or "2," click the "Identify" link. The assigned monitor number will then appear on each monitor's screen.
Set the Primary and Secondary Monitor
- Right-click on your desktop and select "Display". At the top of the resulting dialog box, your available monitors appear as blue, numbered boxes. Each box represents a monitor (e.g. box "1" corresponds with the left monitor and box "2" corresponds with the right monitor).
- From the display, select the monitor you wish to be your main display
- Check the box that says "Make this my main display." The other monitor will automatically become the secondary display.
- When finished, click apply
Zoom Enabling Dual Monitors
- Sing in to Zoom
- Click on the arrow next to the microphone and choose audio settings
- Click the general tab
- Navigate to the use dual monitors option and verify the setting is enabled
1. Click on the Zoom icon on the desktop
2. Click sign in
3. Click sign in with SSO
4. Enter UND and click continue
5. Sign in with your NDUS identifier and password
6. Choose which meeting you would like to start and click start
7. Click join with computer audio
1. Click share screen
2. Click advanced
3. Click content from 2nd camera
4. Click share5. Click switch camera
1. Click on the Yuja icon on the desktop
2. Choose single sign on and UND from the dropdown menus
3. Click sign in
4. Give the capture a title if you would like (you can do this after recording as
well).
5. Select the YuJa course folder to store the capture in
6. Select your video/camera sources
7. Select your audio sources and verify your microphone is metering in the yellow
range. Adjust microphone level if necessary.
8. Select your screen capture area
9. Click Start. There will be a three second countdown before your recording will
begin

2. Choose which Document Camera you are using. The options will either be EPSON ELPDC21 or AV.io 4k HD Video
1. Choose video source to display projectors/monitors
To turn on projectors and lower screens
2. Press on
3. Press screens down
To turn projectors off and raise screens
4. Press screens up
5. Press and hold off for five seconds
Sanitizing Surfaces
Use a sanitizing wipe to wipe down the podium and teaching station before and after class. Please do not use these wipes on the Wacom tablet or other screens.
Sanitizing Tech Equipment
Use sanitizing wipe to wipe down the technology euipment before and after class.
Place a disposable dry wipe on top of the plunger can and push down. The wipe will become wet with disinfectant. Wipe down all electronics.
Spray disinfectant on a disposable dry wipe and wipe down all electronics. Please do not spray directly on technology equipment.
