Deque University: On-Demand Accessibility Training
Learn how to create accessible digital content with self-paced training through Deque University.
As part of its effort to meet the Title II ADA Digital Accessibility requirements, UND has partnered with Deque University to provide an expansive selection of digital accessibility training modules to all UND employees.
Deque University provides on-demand, self-selected training to help address everything from the fundamentals of web accessibility to formatting individual document types, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF.
Log-In Steps
1. Users will log in to Deque University using their @und.edu email address in the "Username or email" box on Deque University's login page. Employees with only an @undeerc.org email address will need to create a local account by submitting a ticket to UIT.
2. The first time users log in to Deque, they will be directed to a NDUS sign-in page, where they will use their @ndus.edu email address. (Please note that if a user is already logged in to the NDUS domain, this step may be skipped.)
3. They then will be taken to UND's SSO login page, where they use their dotted identifier and UND password.
4. They will be prompted to verify their account profile in Deque, using their @und.edu address and first and last name.
5. An activation email will be sent to their @und.edu email.
6. After activating their account, users should log out of Deque University, wait a few minutes, and then log back in to verify that they have access to the full curriculum.
