Agustinus Zandy

Biography

Dr. Agustinus Zandy is a Principal Operations Specialist at the EERC, where he works with project teams and EERC clients to perform drilling and completion designs; manage and oversee field activities related to drilling, logging, coring, completion, and well testing; analyze artificial lift designs (gas lift and electric submersible pump); and evaluate well production/injection performance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, and Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of North Dakota. Prior to working at the EERC, Dr. Zandy served as a Senior Petroleum Engineer at Tiarabumi Petroleum and Medco E&P, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Dr. Zandy’s principal areas of interest and expertise include drilling and completion design (Class I, Class II, and Class VI wells); production optimization and simulation; artificial lift design (gas lift and electric submersible pump); and drilling, logging, coring, well-testing, and production operations.
