The Division of the Marketing & Communications serves as the chief promotion division for the University of North Dakota.
What We Do
By amplifying stories, promoting points of pride and engaging our community in events, we celebrate and support the mission of the university.
We create and plan a variety of major ceremonies and university events for campus partners. Events range from Commencement ceremonies to the annual Bus Tour for new faculty and administrators to Founders Day employee recognition ceremony and a variety of building groundbreaking and dedication ceremonies.

Every campaign or marketing plan has a component in need of graphic design. Although each piece is unique, all designs follow UND brand guidelines, so everyone knows we are "UND."
UND Marketing offers templates for name badges, business cards, stationery, merchandise, letterhead, power point presentations, signage, envelopes, campus digital signage and more.

Professional headshot services are available to University faculty and staff (students and student employees are not eligible).
Once per month, the Photo Studio in Skalicky 178 is open from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. for headshot sessions. There is no cost for headshot photography and no appointment is required.
Each photo session is approximately 5-10 minutes long. Headshot photos are delivered approximately 1 week after the photo session, in both print and web-ready form.
The web photo will be automatically uploaded to your UND Directory profile.
If your department plans to attend as a group of 5 or more, please email marketing@UND.edu in advance, so we can prepare for your arrival. If a very large department needs headshot photos, Marketing & Creative Services may schedule a special session for your group.

University Photographers maintain an online photo gallery for general campus use. These images illustrate a wide range of UND programs, activities and locations.
These photos may be used for official University purposes. By using the UND online photo library, you agree to the UND Photo Use Requirements.
