Dr. Aldjia Boualam Djezzar is a Senior Geoscientist at the EERC, where she performs petrophysical analyses of geophysical well log data and well testing analysis, develops and oversees the development of geological models of the subsurface, performs regional characterization, and interfaces with a diverse team of scientists and engineers to assess project uncertainties in oil and gas development and geologic CO2 storage. Dr. Boualam is a geoscientist with over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to her position at the EERC, Dr. Boualam served as a Senior Petrophysicist and a Petrophysicist Specialist at Sonatrach, Algeria. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from UND and an Engineer Degree in Geophysics from Sciences and Technology University, Algiers, Algeria. Dr. Boualam Djezzar’s principal areas of interest and expertise include petrophysics, unconventional reservoir characterization, petroleum system evaluation, well testing, well logging, enhanced oil recovery(EOR), CO2 storage, and reservoir modeling. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Rock Mechanics Association, Society of Petroleum and Well Log Analysts, and Algerian Association of Gas Industry. Dr. Boualam has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed and other professional publications.
