Biography
My education and experiences have led me to work primarily in mental health and academics. I worked inpatient psychiatry for five years, followed by 14 years of outpatient clinical social work. At present, I share my time between private clinical social work practice and teaching. I am interested in how a person's mental health, coping skills, and support systems influence their ability to be successful in and out of the classroom, in relationships, professionally, and personally as well as rural mental health access and issues. I am active clincial social worker who works with adolescents through adults including first responders.
