Biography
Dr. Ashley M. Snyder is an assistant professor in the Public Health Program at UND. Her research interests focus on using evolutionary medicine and lifestyle medicine concepts to understand the development and treatment of chronic disease, especially celiac disease and dermatologic conditions, such as acne and psoriasis. Dr. Snyder also has interests in the gut microbiome, particularly the use of fecal microbiota transplant for treating chronic disease. Dr. Snyder has experience with both qualitative and quantitative research, which have involved secondary data analysis and clinical research.
