Biography
Brian W. Mladenich is a Geospatial Solutions Specialist at the EERC, where he supports geographic information system (GIS) data development, spatial analysis, and data visualization across a variety of energy and environmental research projects, with emphasis on subsurface research and development on oil and gas industry and other geology-related projects. He holds M.A. and B.A. degrees in Geography from California State University, Northridge, and is a Certified GIS Professional (GISP). Prior to his position at the EERC, Mr. Mladenich served as a GIS Operations Manager for the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians in Roseburg, Oregon.
Mr. Mladenich’s principal areas of interest and expertise include cartography, spatial analysis, spatial modeling, GIS web applications, database development, data maintenance, data conversion, story maps, dashboards, GPS, and drones.
