Biography
Brianna Black is the Aerospace Student Success Center Coordinator, in the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences.
Black graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2018 from the University of North Dakota. She went on to earn her Master’s of Science in Kinesiology in spring of 2020. During her time in graduate school she found she was passionate about two things: Kinesiology and Higher Education. Through teaching and various roles around the University of North Dakota campus she found she was able find her niche in helping, connecting, and maintaining relationships with students. She obtained her doctorate in December 2024 focusing her research on female student-athletes and professional development within a Business major.
Born and raised in Grand Forks, Brianna is a proud UND alum! Often times you will see Brianna sporting kelly green on the weekends at sporting events. In her free time she enjoys spending time at her lake place, walking her dog Draco, staying active in the community by officiating volleyball and basketball.
