Brittany Fischer

Biography

Brittany is the Scholarly Communications and Social Sciences Librarian at the Chester Fritz Library at the University of North Dakota. She values transparency, communication, life-long learning, cultivating relationships, and building trust. She works with students, faculty, and staff in navigating library resources and spaces and finding and using information ethically. In her current role, she provides library instruction for a variety of social sciences disciplines and provides information, consultations, and instruction on scholarly communication topics. Her professional interests also include (broadly) information literacy instruction, popular reading collection development, and increasing access to resources.
