Cindy Flom-Meland

Biography

Cindy completed her BSPT (1991), MPT (1993), and PhD (2004) in Teaching & Learning at the University of North Dakota. She is the current Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy.  She teaches in the areas of communication and professional behavior, motor control, neuro-rehabilitation, geriatrics, teaching & learning, and leadership. Cindy is a credentialed trainer for the APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program. She is active in the North Dakota Physical Therapy Association, university committees, and the American Physical Therapy Association. She is currently President of APTA North Dakota. Her areas of research interest include neuro-rehabilitation, clinical education, and professional behavior.
