Biography
Dan graduated from the Army-Baylor DPT program in 2018 and is an ABPTS Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 13 years as a maintenance officer, graduate student, and physical therapist before joining the UND physical therapy department in March 2025. He has advanced training and experience in direct access, primary care, diagnostic imaging, manual therapy techniques, and occupational health programs. He teaches and assists in these content areas and other departmental needs. Dan is also a PhD student at UND and is interested in researching movement assessment with wearable sensors and using technology to advance research methods for myofascial treatment techniques like cupping.
