Biography
Dr. Emily A. Brinck is an instructor for the Counseling Psychology Community Services (CPCS) department at the University of North Dakota. She received her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counselor Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her master's in Management from Indiana University and bachelor's degree in Special Education from Miami University. Her diverse educational experiences shape her research interest in interagency collaboration between schools, vocational rehabilitation, and employers; transition services to post-secondary employment and education; counseling supervision, and psychiatric rehabilitation. She has published articles in Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin, Career Development and Transition for Expectational Individuals, and Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a board member of the Vocational Evaluation and Work adjustment Association (VEWAA). She is an individual member of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE) and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP).
