My area of research is in the transmission of human and animal diseases by arthropod vectors such as mosquitoes and ticks. I have research experience in various vector/pathogen systems, including malaria, arboviruses, avian filariasis, neorickettsiae, fleas, and ticks. Current research activities include avian malaria and vector control strategies using systemic parasiticides in livestock and rodents.
