Biography
Jennifer Rogers joined the University of North Dakota in 2010. In 2023 she was named director of university policy where she coordinates and leads the process for standardization, creation, maintenance, revision, and promulgation of university policies; assists colleges/departments/units with writing, editing, review, approval and communication of policies/procedures; ensures administrative policies align with the University’s strategic goals, values and legal responsibilities; oversees the University policy library; and promotes integration of national best practices into policy writing and communication.
As UND special projects assistant to the vice president for finance and operations (2010-2023), Rogers acted as the liaison for the campus policy development process, served as the VPFO's office manager, coordinated University information as requested for the North Dakota University System and State Board of Higher Education, served as a chief administrative officer for executive level employment searches, and provided guidance as as a project manager for the OneUND strategic plan and Jaggaer implementation, among other duties. Prior to UND she served six years as client relations coordinator for Altru Health Foundation, Grand Forks, N.D.
Rogers graduated cum laude from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and with honors from UND with a Master of Public Administration.
Rogers is a nationally award winning writer. She served a two-year term (2018-2020) as the chair of Association of College and University Policy Administrators (ACUPA) Board of Directors and led the organization's events planning committee for two years. She continues to be an active member of the association, serving on numerous committees including membership, education and events planning. She served four years on the North Dakota Young Professionals Network Board of Directors including one year as chair. Rogers is active in her community where she officiates high school volleyball, directs/acts in community theater productions, and served as board chair of a rural non-profit daycare.
