Biography
Mr. Nordlie is an Instructor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) within the College of Engineering and Mines. He has developed sensors and paylodas for road weather monitoring, high-altitude balloons, rockets, and unmanned aircraft. He wrote software and built systems to support airspace visualization projects, based upon both primary radar returns and also automatic dependent surveillance - broadcast (ADS-B) telemetry. He has also served as a systems administrator and network architect for the Regional Weather Information Center, managing databases, satellite receivers, and network security issues. Nordlie also served as a safety pilot and ground control station operator for UND's first unmanned aerial system.
