Curriculum Vitae
My area of interest is in Health Service Psychology, and, therefore, I support the Department's focus on Health most directly. As a licensed Psychologist, and Director of the PhD program in Clinical Psychology, my teaching and research is dedicated to graduate-level education and clinical application of psychological science.
My research interests include:
- Psychometric theory generally
- Development & validation of new tests, and adaptive tests for use with clients who are visually impaired in particular
- Diagnostic accuracy (e.g., sensitivity, speficity, predictive power) of clinical tests and measures
- Developing models for the prediction of tests' diagnostic accuracy

I am always open to mentoring creative and dedicated PhD candidates. Typically, students who work best with me have an interest in applied psychometrics, including test development and validation, or verification of a tests psychometric properties in applied settings or common clinical applications.
