Biography
Lawrence J. Pekot is a Principal Engineer at the EERC, where he consults on reservoir engineering evaluations for CO2 enhanced oil recovery (EOR), CO2 storage, and unconventional hydrocarbon recovery projects and multiphase flow, geomechanical, and thermal simulations. He holds BSc. degrees in Civil Engineering and Geological Science from Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Pekot’s principal areas of interest and expertise include unconventional reservoir engineering, including CO2 storage and EOR, coalbed methane (CBM), enhanced CBM, shale gas, natural gas storage, and hydraulic fracturing; integrated project management; field studies; and reserve evaluations.
