Biography
Dr. Mandy Meyer is a fun-loving faculty member who thrives on learning. She earned her B.S. at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in biology with a minor in chemistry. She obtained her PhD. at the University of North Daktoa from the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology. Her current areas of interest include but are not limited to human anatomy, neuroscience, neuromusculoskeletal challenges, brain and spinal cord injuries, chronic disorders (esp. diabetes), OT in schools, community outreach programs (e.g. 4-H, FFA), outdoor mental and physical wellness and rehabilitation programs, and rural life.
In her spare time she raises two daughters and helps hold down their hobby farm of goats, sheep, donkeys, ducks and a variety of household animals. She additionally enjoys cooking, baking, camping, gardening, hunting and other recreational pursuits.
