Biography
McKenzie Marquart, OTD, OTR/L, earned her undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota. After graduation, she had the opportunity to work in central Minnesota, where she served rural communities and helped individuals of all ages. She played a key role in starting a rural pediatric therapy program at a critical access hospital, which made it easier for kids to access occupational therapy and supported the growth of speech and physical therapy services nearby.
McKenzie's main passions are rural health initiatives, pediatric therapy, and supporting both new and experienced clinicians to succeed in rural settings. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors, enjoying activities with family and friends, quilting, and gardening. Lately you can find her working on home projects and exploring the all the Greater Grand Forks area has to offer.
