Biography
Michael J. Wuitschick is an Instrumentation Technologist in Emissions Measurement at the EERC, where he coordinates the work, scheduling, and training of Research Instrumentation Technicians, who install, maintain, repair, and operate instruments and equipment used in field-, pilot-, and bench-scale testing. He also participates in research work, including assisting with test programs, adapting equipment for nonstandard applications, and developing new sampling technologies. He holds a M.S. degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology from the University of North Dakota and an A.A.S. degree in electronics from Northwest Technical College, Wadena, Minnesota. Mr. Wuitschick’s principal areas of interest and expertise include trace mercury detection in coal-fired power plant applications; instrument calibration, maintenance and development; and diagnosis and repair of critical equipment and instruments at field locations.
