Biography
Scott C. Ayash is Assistant Director of Research Management at the EERC, where he leads a team of research managers to support energy and environmental research, report writing, and proposal development at the EERC. He also works with the Director for Exploratory Research to manage the research efforts conducted through the State Energy Research Center. He holds a B.S. degree in Physics from North Dakota State University. Prior to his current position, Mr. Ayash served as a Principal Research Manager, Senior Project Management Specialist, and Research Scientist at the EERC.
Mr. Ayash’s principal areas of interest and expertise include the physical processes involved with the geologic storage of carbon dioxide and using these processes along with current risk management methodologies to effectively assess and control the risk associated with this storage technique. In addition, Mr. Ayash has experience in the areas of project management, all aspects of preparing and reviewing proposals, technical report writing, and team leadership.
