HEAD CATALOGER, 1971- : Catalog in all formats, with an emphasis on original cataloging particularly of serials, local materials, scientific materials, foreign language items as well as authority work. Administer the Cataloging Dept. and supervise seven full-time and several part-time staff. Coordinate workflow throughout the Dept. as well as with all other departments in the library and branch libraries. Train new staff and do continuing education for existing staff to maintain high standards of cataloging based on AACRII, Library of Congress and OCLC standards and interpretations.
