Biography
Steevie L. Bailey, Ph.D. is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Counseling as well as the On-Campus Master's in Counseling Program Director in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of North Dakota (UND). She earned a BS in Psychology from the University of North Dakota, a MA in Counseling from the University of North Dakota, and a PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education from the University of Florida. Her primary areas of teaching are counseling methods, addictions counseling, ethics in counseling, and multicultural counseling. Her other professional interests include conducting and utilizing research to inform mental health policy, specific to historical and systemic injustice and inequities.
