Biography
Taylor began working the University Counseling Center (UCC) in 2018. Taylor graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota in 2016, and with her Master's in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2018. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as a Board Certified TeleMental Health provider.
Taylor provides individual, group, and crisis counseling at UCC. She specializes in working with those who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, phase of life transitions, and relationship issues. She utilizes cognitive behavioral theory (CBT) techniques, and explores childhood and family dynamics, among other techniques that are unique to the individual. Taylor also serves as our current Substance Use Manager.
