Biography
Bonni Gourneau is an Associate Professor in Elementary Education for the Department of Teaching, Leadership, and Professional Practice. Dr. Gourneau earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, and a Doctorate in Teacher Education from the University of North Dakota.
As a UND faculty member, Dr. Gourneau has been actively involved in teaching, research, and service. She is the graduate director of the Elementary Education (MEd) Program and the Doctoral Director of Teaching and Leadership (Ph.D.) Doctoral Program.

My research interests include teacher preparation, effective teaching and learning instructional strategies and assessment techniques, first-year teachers, school mentoring, action research, inquiry into professional practice, and school bullying.
