Biography
Duane Helleloid has been at UND since 2003, and served three separate stints as department chair. Before coming to UND, he served on the faculty of the Stockholm School of Economis, the Norwegian School of Management, the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, the University of Maryland, the University of Connecticut, and Towson University. Before his doctoral studies, he worked for IBM (Tarrytown, NY and San Jose, CA) and Hewlett-Packard (Lake Stevens, WA and Fort Collins, CO).
At UND he has taught more than a dozen different courses, often filling in for whatever needs to be covered. In addition to typical in-person classes, he has taught synchronous online courses since 2003 and asychronous online courses since around 2010.
