Biography
Taylor began working the University Counseling Center (UCC) in 2018. Taylor graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota in 2016, and with her Master's in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2018. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in North Dakota, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Minnesota and is also a Licensed Masters Addictions Counselor (LMAC) in North Dakota.
Taylor provides individual, group, and crisis counseling at UCC. She specializes in working with those who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, phase of life transitions, and relationship stressors. Taylor aims to challenge her clients to enhance their growth. She utilizes cognitive behavioral theory (CBT) techniques, ACT, SFBT and explores childhood and family dynamics, among other techniques that are unique to the individual. Taylor also serves as our current Substance Use Manager.
