Biography
Jessica Van Bree, PhD (PI) is a Research Specialist at the Research Institute for Autonomous Systems. Her research focuses on human performance, cognitive workload, and psychophysiological measures of attention and decision making in complex environments. Through her work, Jessica aims to enhance situational awareness, human-autonomy teaming, and operational safety in aviation and aerospace systems. Her work has involved coordination cross academic, military, and industry partners and her multidisciplinary training in psychology, physiology, and data science directly supports efforts to enhance safety, performance, and decision-making within the national airspace system.
