Biography
Jo-Anne Yearwood joined the College of Education and Human Development as a Program Director in the fall of 1998 when she was hired to direct the University Children’s Learning Center (UCLC), formally known as the University Children’s Center (UCC) and teach two early childhood student teaching related courses. After 17 years of directing the Center, Jo-Anne accepted the opportunity to teach fulltime in the Early Childhood Education Program area in the fall of 2015 where she now teachers Methods and Materials in ECE, Field Experience in ECE, Administration and Leadership in ECE (undergraduate and graduate levels) and Assessment in ECE (graduate level), in addition to the two courses associated with Student Teaching. Jo-Anne earned both her Bachelors and Master’s degrees from the University of North Dakota (UND).
