Biography
Kian Mahoney earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Washington State University Vancouver before relocating to Hawai‘i to begin doctoral training in clinical psychology at Hawai‘i Pacific University. He is currently completing his doctoral internship as a therapist at the University Counseling Center at the University of North Dakota.
Kian’s clinical interests include ADHD and autism spectrum disorder across the lifespan, the biological foundations of behavior, and the treatment of depression and anxiety. He has worked with Native Hawaiian youth, military members, and civilians facing diverse mental health challenges. He provides counseling and assessment under licensed supervision.
