Biography
Malaysia Lewis is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor at the University of North Dakota Counseling Center. Malaysia began working at the University Counseling Center (UCC) in 2026. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a Minor in Religion from Clark Atlanta University in 2020. Malaysia obtained her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2025. She is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Georgia.
Malaysia has experience working with adults in an outpatient setting; she has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions and psychosis. She utilizes the following therapy approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the needs of her clients. Malaysia strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to grow and heal.
