Biography
Michelle M. Buehlmann received her BA from Immaculata University, and her MPA and PhD in political science from George Mason University. She served as a government relations professional for Congressman George W. Gekas; Senator James M. Jeffords; the American Association of College for Teacher Education; the California State University; and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. She taught public administration and political science courses at George Mason University, American University and Northern Virginia Community College. Since the Fall of 2024, she has served UND as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Political Science and Public Administration. In August of 2026, she began serving as MPA Program Director at the University of North Dakota.
