Curriculum Vitae
Biography
I teach introductory visual and fine arts courses, art history survey courses, and courses on advanced art history topics to undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Art and Design. I specialize in feminist, modern, and non-Western art history and serve as a faculty mentor for undergraduate research projects. I teach in various modalities, including synchronous in-person, synchronous online, blended, hybrid, and asynchronous online. Many of my courses incorporate information, digital, and AI literacy competencies.
I earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Practice and Leadership, with a specialization in Higher Education, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Dakota. I earned a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Alverno College. In addition to my teaching, I serve on several university, college, and departmental committees. I also served as a faculty mentor through the Alice T. Clark Faculty Development Program.
