Biography
Dr. Priyanka Ravi is a public health researcher and educator with interdisciplinary training in health behavior, health promotion, and public health dentistry. She earned her Ph.D. in Health Behavior Health Promotion from the University of Arizona and holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Public Health Dentistry from India.
Her research advances oral health promotion, cancer prevention, and tobacco control, with a strong focus on occupational and environmental health risks affecting underserved populations. Dr. Ravi’s work has examined occupational exposures and health challenges among women tobacco farmers in India, supported by funding from the University of Arizona’s One Health Fellowship and the Southern California Education and Research Center at UCLA.
Dr. Ravi is committed to preparing the next generation of public health professionals through engaging teaching, research mentorship, and practical training in evidence-based health education and health promotion.
