Rob Carolin

Biography

Carolin has spent his entire professional career at the University of North Dakota. He began in the Office of Enrollment Services in 1989. He led the efforts for undergraduate recruitment and marketing. Carolin joined the UND Foundation staff in 2001, working as a development officer focused on planned giving, and ultimately became the development officer assigned to the UND School of Law. In 2005, Carolin joined the law school staff as Director of Alumni and Public Relations and worked with the law school for nearly 16 years. He joined the President's Office as Chief of Staff to UND President Andrew Armacost in January 2021 and in April 2025 assumed the Director of University Outreach role in the President's Office. He lives in Grand Forks and is married with two children. He has a special interest in photography, golf and is a baseball fan.
