Biography
Ryan J. Klapperich is a Principal Geoscienst at the EERC, where he is working for the Geoscience and Engineering Team in the Subsurface Research & Development Group to research, develop, and commercialize projects to store carbon dioxide in geologic formations and utilize carbon dioxide for enhanced oil recovery. Prior to his position at the EERC, he was a Laboratory Technician at the North Dakota Geological Survey Core and Sample Library and a Graduate Research Assistant at UND. He holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Geology and a B.A. degree in the Honors Program, all from UND. Mr. Klapperich’s principal areas of interest and expertise include hydrogeology, geographic information systems (GIS), CO2 sequestration, and related environmental issues. Mr. Klapperich has authored and coauthored numerous reports and publications.
