Training

UND offers brand training in three distinct tracks. Choose a training track that matches how you communicate and create content on behalf of UND. Each track focuses on the tools you use most, with guidance and resources tailored to your skill level. Review the options below to find the best fit.

General Use Track

This track covers the essentials, including brand pillars, promise, voice and tone, messaging, logo use, photography, fonts and colors. It’s built for everyday communication in tools like Word, PowerPoint and other standard platforms.

Best for: Faculty and staff creating presentations, documents and general communications.

General Use Track

Adobe Express Track

This track includes everything in the General Use Track, plus additional resources and training for Adobe Express for Higher Education. Adobe Express is a web-based platform for creating graphics, flyers, videos, presentations and social media content, along with basic PDF editing.

  • Best for: Faculty and staff who want to create branded content with easy-to-use design tools.
  • Before you begin: Please connect with the marketing and/or creative professionals in your college or school before starting a training track to confirm that creating branded materials in this format is the best fit for your needs.

Adobe Express Track

Adobe Creative Cloud Track

This track includes all General Use content, plus advanced training and resources for Adobe Creative Cloud applications like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro.

Creative Cloud is available to faculty and staff who purchase a license through UIT. This track offers the most comprehensive access to brand tools and assets.

  • Best for: Users who design high-impact material and need professional-level creative control. Users should also have training in Creative Cloud software before taking this track.
