UND Event Planning Checklist
Determine Event Date & Location
- Determine event location and date.
- Reference the UND Calendar to ensure your event doesn't conflict with other campus events.
- If your event requires payment and/or registration, contact UND Conference, Camp & Event Services for assistance with cash handling and registration services. Comprehensive conference services are also available.
Review Policies
- Review UND's Event Policy to ensure compliance.
- Campus events include all group activities, public lectures, symposiums, workshops, trainings, conferences, concerts, orientations, internships/co-ops and other campus activities held on-campus.
- UND-sponsored events held at off-campus locations must also be approved by the respective dean, director or vice president and they must follow the respective UND policies and procedures.
- Submit an Event Approval Form at least 2 weeks prior to event. This form must be completed for all events held in or on UND-owned property as well as UND sponsored events held at off-campus locations.
- A confirmation email with event approval will be sent to you via the UND Department of Safety.
Promote Your Event
Market your event to the UND or Grand Forks Community.
