Before using the UND logo system, please review the UND logo system requirements.

Choose the Right File

Review the different options below to download the best file type for you project. All three files can have transparent backgrounds.

  • EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) files are for high quality print publications and can be scaled to any size.
  • PNG (Portable Network Graphic) files are suitable for Microsoft Office programs and websites.
  • SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files are suitable for use on websites and support interactivity and animation.

Primary Logotype

The primary UND logotype is our main logo. It should be used whenever possible on all advertising, publications and communications.

Vertical Logotype

The vertical logotype can be used when horizontal space is limited or when the logo appears alongside other logos, such as in sponsorships or partnerships.

UND Flame Logo

The flame logo may be used for internal audiences. It can be used for external audiences when space is limited on apparel or promotional items with prior approval.

Fighting Hawks Mascot

The University mascot is a mark used to promote and display school spirit. The mascot logo is not a substitute for UND logotypes or unit logos. When used externally, the “University of North Dakota” text must be included in the communication or deliverable.

Additional mascot marks may be available for use with prior approval. Visit Brand Approval Requirements for approval.
