To support consistent use of the UND brand, certain types of branded content require review and approval.

Request Brand Approval for Content You Created
Use this form to request review and approval before producing, publishing or distributing UND branded content you created.
Who Should Use This Form
- University departments and units
- Student organizations and club sports
- Formally affiliated organizations (e.g., foundations)
- External vendors, contractors and partners creating branded content for the University
What to Submit for Approval
Examples include:
- Advertisements
- Artwork for merchandise, apparel and promotional products
- Awards and certificates
- Environmental graphics
- Event materials
- Flyers, brochures, magazines, publications and reports
- Logos created by student organizations and club sports
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Social media graphics, digital content and videos
- Other branding concepts or graphic elements not created by M&C
Timeline
Typical response times will vary, depending on the complexity of the project:
- Standard projects: 1 to 3 business days
- Larger publications or more complex projects: 6 to 10 business days
Requirements
Per UND policy, all internal and external uses of UND brand assets must follow University brand standards. When required, reviews and approvals must be obtained before branded content is produced, published or distributed.
This requirement applies to branded content in any format, including marketing and advertising, digital and print communications, environmental branding, merchandise and other branded applications.
Branded content that does not meet University standards or receive required approval may be subject to revision, removal or discontinuation.
Approval is not required when:
- Using approved UND templates (e.g., PowerPoint, Word) as designed and without structural modification.
- You have been authorized by M&C to independently create certain branded content after completing required training and demonstrating compliance with UND brand standards.
