Campus Master Planning

Guiding the future of UND's campus for the next decade and beyond.

The UND Campus Master Plan sets a long-term vision for UND’s physical environment in support of academic excellence, student success, research, and partnerships. In October, 2025, UND contracted with Perkins & Will to assist with the Master Planning Process. We welcome students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to take part in shaping UND’s future.

Be Part of the Process

Shaping the future of UND takes all of us. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members each bring unique perspectives that help ensure the campus continues to meet our evolving academic, research, athletics and community needs. We invite you to share your ideas and be actively involved through the opportunities outlined below.

Working Groups

In addition to input gathered through surveys and the Campus Open Forum, the master planning process includes four broad-based, cross-functional Working Groups and a Steering Committee. These groups represent key themes central to the planning effort.
