Master Planning Timeline
The Master Planning process will take approximately 15 months and is broken into 5 phases. Each phase includes opportunities for engagement through surveys, working groups, and campus forums.
Initiate (November 2025 - January 2026)
Begins the project by aligning expectations, establishing planning goals and vision, defining lines of communication, and charting a clear path for the planning project. Data requests are initiated, and project scheduling is completed.
Discover (February 2026)
Involves the accumulation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data necessary to generate a realistic portrait of the planning conditions.
Ideate (April - May 2026)
Focuses on conceiving a plan vision that aligns with project inputs and creating a planning concept that holistically addresses the project’s development for both the near-term and long-term.
Develop (June - October 2026)
Involves further study of the preferred concept, including evaluation in greater detail of discrete site areas, so that it may be used to describe innovative development ideas, obtain input, and build consensus.
Refine (December 2026 - February 2027)
Includes the preparation of the final composite plan and related supporting documents. A final report will be issued to campus in February 2027.
