Accessibility Standards
Web content is always preferred when posting on UND websites. Web pages are easier to update, mobile-friendly, searchable, and more accessible for all users.
When creating content, follow a few basic steps to ensure it is accessible. UND’s Teaching Transformation & Development Academy (TTaDA) offers resources to help you create accessible files.
Fonts
UND templates contain license-free branded typefaces. If the fonts used in each template are not installed on your computer, you can download them for free through various font websites.
PowerPoint Templates
UND’s PowerPoint templates use the Widescreen (16:9) slide size, the standard format for modern presentations. This format fits most computer displays and TV screens while offering more space for content.
After downloading the template, review the default slides and check the Notes sections for instructions and tips.
For the best experience and functionality, we recommend using PowerPoint templates in the desktop application rather than in the online browser.
Which template should I select?
UND offers PowerPoint templates in two brand tones - Core and Vibrant. Each template's unique design helps you choose the tone that best suits your audience and communication goals.
Core Tone
The core tone PowerPoint template focuses on our core brand. It is best for official, professional and straightforward communications.

Vibrant
The vibrant tone PowerPoint template is dynamic, lively and playful. This is best for student and more relaxed communication.

Word Templates
Create your own branded flyers and documents using one of the templates provided. After downloading a file, review the placeholder text for instructions and tips.
For the best experience and functionality, we recommend using Word templates in the desktop application rather than in the online browser.
Some UND print templates (especially folded brochures) may not meet digital accessibility standards due to the use of text boxes and complex layouts. These templates are intended for print use only.
