University Information Technology (UIT) is UND's technology support unit serving students, faculty and staff.
We work with all agencies on campus to provide you with the technology tools for success both in and outside of the classroom.

Our Focus
UIT consists of six main foci; Application Support, Customer Support, Cybersecurity, Project Management, Records Management, Unified Communications.
Application Support
Application Support is responsible for evaluating the technological needs of the university and implementing technology-based solutions.
Customer Support
Our Customer Support team are your single point of contact for any technology needs and issues including Desktop services for faculty and staff, classroom support, and Tech Support to troubleshoot your hardware and software issues.
Cybersecurity
Our Cybersecurity team is dedicated to protecting university data, safeguarding user privacy, and maintaining integrity of our digital infrastructure.
Project Management
Effective project management enables us to deliver innovative IT solutions on time and within budget, ensuring that technology initiatives align with the university's strategic goals and enhance the overall experience for members of the university and its students.
Records Management
Records Management is responsible for creating, storing, maintaining, and disposal of digital media for the university.
Unified Communications
Unified Communications supports employees and students with office phones, university-issued cell phones, audioconferencing, and more.
