Bike It
Why Bike?
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), getting regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health! It can help control weight, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and improve your mental health and mood. It is recommended to get 75 - 150 minutes a week of vigorous-intensity physical activity or 150 - 300 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week.
That's where the bicycles come in! Biking is a simple way to help reach the CDC's goal of at least 75 - 150 minutes a week of vigorous-intensity physical activity or 150 - 300 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week. It's easy on the joints and environmentally friendly! Challenge a co-worker or your department to get those wheels moving!!
