Supportive Resources and Services
Safety Escort
If you feel uncomfortable traveling across campus, you may use the UND Safety Escort Service to escort you to your destination on campus or locations near campus. This free service is available 24 hours a day by the University Police Department.
Courtesy Transportation for Student Mobility Concerns
If a student has a temporary disability, injury, or mobility concern they can contact Office of Community Standards to discuss courtesy transportation options on campus.
Students
Students who need assistance with academic adjustments related to pregnancy or childbirth may contact the Equal Opportunity & Title IX to learn about your options.
Employees and Applicants
Empolyees and applicants may contact Human Resources to learn about accommodations, family medical leave, and other options that may be available.

Students
Students may contact Accessibility for Students for academic disability-based accommodations and Housing for housing accommodations.
Students may contact the Office of Community Standards for adjustments or assistance due to temporary medical conditions or hospitalizations.

Applicants

Whether you are a student, staff, or faculty member, UND has supportive measures available to support you if you have experienced sexual misconduct, discrimination, or harassment or are involved in a misconduct grievance process.

University Counseling Center
The University Counseling Center offers confidential in-person and tele-mental health counseling services for UND students that are enrolled in the current semester.

Student Health Services
Student Health Services (SHS) specializes in medical and psychiatric care for college students in a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. Student Health Services providers are seeing patients in person or through virtual (Telemedicine) appointments. Services include:

Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential assessment/counseling/referral service that can help you and members of your household with counseling services. UND’s EAP is managed through the Village Family Service Center. When you or members of your household contact the Village, a trained professional will assess the situation and provide the assistance needed to resolve it. This may include personal contacts with the counselor and/or referral to a professional who is specially trained in your area of difficulty. All contact with the Village is confidential.

Office of Community Standards
UND’s Office of Community Standards supports the campus learning environment and contributes to student learning and the overall safety and civility of the community.
This office provides:
- General advisement and campus consultation

- Assist in problem solving or identify appropriate services
