Resources for Pregnant and Parenting Students and Employees
In compliance with Title IX, Title VII, and other state and federal laws, UND prohibits discrimination against students and employees (including student employees and graduate assistants) because of their pregnancy or parental status. In addition, UND supports its pregnant and parenting students and employees by providing appropriate accommodations, along with support for nursing mothers.
Students and student employees who need assistance with academic adjustments or work-place adjustments related to pregnancy or childbirth may contact the Equal Opportunity & Title IX Office to learn about your options. Other employees should contact Human Resources to learn about workplace adjustments, family medical leave, and other options that may be available.
UND provides a number of resources for lacation support, including lactation rooms and time away from work to express breast milk.
