In compliance with Title IX, Title VII, and other state and federal laws, UND prohibits discrimination against students and employees because of their pregnancy or parental status. In addition, UND supports its pregnant and parenting students and employees by providing appropriate accommodations, along with support for nursing mothers.

Students who need assistance with academic adjustments related to pregnancy or childbirth may contact the Equal Opportunity & Title IX Office or Academic Affairs to learn about your options. Faculty and staff should contact Human Resources to learn about workplace adjustments, family medical leave, and other options that may be available.
UND provides a number of resources for lacation support, including lactation rooms and time away from work to express breast milk.
Pregnant students and employees may be eligible for preferred parking. You may request a parking adjustment from Parking Services through the special temporary parking request form.
