- My purpose as an early childhood educator is to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for children to grow. I develop relationships with parents in order to facilitate the growth and development of each child. I encourage children to become involved in their own learning by allowing them to explore their thoughts and ideas. I provide cooperative and small group activities that will foster interaction between students, promote learning, and encourage students who are normally passive and quiet to participate.
