Purple Family
Teacher Information
My purpose as an early childhood educator is to provide a safe, nurturing, and consistent learning environment so that the children can grow and be successful. My goal is for the children to be able to take risks and learn through their curiosity about the world around them. I hope to foster a love of learning in each child that I teach!

My purpose as an early childhood educator is to provide quality education and care to children and build strong teacher-parent relationships. I strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the children and nurture an open line of communication between myself and the children’s parents.
In my position I feel I should be a mentor in order to guide and give support to new teachers, student teachers, and student workers who enter my classroom.
In order to fulfill all the goals I set out, it is my understanding and desire to cultivate a positive work relationship with the other teachers, student workers, and administration.
Children joining the Purple Family remain in this family with a consistent group of children and teachers. This allows each child to develop a sense of community and belonging as they learn how to get along with one another, and creating a sense of safety and security.
